Check Macros: Check for duplicate identifiers. Check for invalid keys/values. Check reference consistency. Check if an IDPF ePub file has a valid OPF/OPS structure. EpubCheck is Java-based and cross-platform. All you have to do is call a Java program from a Command Prompt. KeyMacro is a command-line tool that takes a set of files or directories and analyzes their manifest files. It is built on top of the Macrosniffer library and performs multiple analysis tasks. For instance, the KeyMacro.md.pdf has a reference to the Macrosniffer.jar library in the lib folder, and the KeyMacro.md.txt file contains a hash that links to the hash file for the library. This hash file contains the hash of all known macros. KeyMacro is not a standalone application and requires Macrosniffer to work. It was written to assist users with basic IDPF validation of Macrosniffer and its results. KeyMacro can work on any directory, or even multiple directories with wildcards if you wish. You can run it on files or directories by supplying a file type or wildcard. The first argument to KeyMacro is the name of the directory to scan. KeyMacro’s interface is fairly simple and easy to use: Figure 1. The KeyMacro interface The first window you see is the main view. It shows the folder or files you pass as arguments to the program. The next window is the analysis result, and it shows the hash file. The last window is the manifest file. It shows the list of macros and their information. The analysis result shows the hashes of the defined macros, and the hash file has the hashes of all the macros as well. The last window shows the collected results for the specified file or folder(s). The four windows at the bottom of the program have a Help button to show a help message about their usage. There is a separate help file included with the download for more detailed information. After the analysis is done, you can click the Download hash file button to download a local copy of the hash file. This file contains the hashes of all the macros that were used in the analysis.
